Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
You must be 18 or older to use this site. This policy does not constitute legal advice; it describes our actual data practices.
1. Who We Are
Adult Career ("Adult Career," "we," "us," "our") operates www.adultcareer.com, a career and business platform for the adult entertainment industry, including job listings, a business marketplace, verification, escrow information, blacklist reporting, group moderation, and industry resources.
[Operator note - fill in before publishing: legal entity name, registered business address, and country of incorporation. These must appear here for the policy to be complete under most data-protection laws; we have not fabricated them.]
2. Information We Collect
a) Information you submit directly
When you use our contact, application, hiring, verification, escrow, business-listing, blacklist-report, or education-access forms, we collect the information you enter, which may include: full name, email address, phone number, message content, cities/locations of interest, and details specific to your request (for example: role type, company name, business category, asking price, or platform links). We only collect what a given form asks for - we do not collect information you don't submit.
b) Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tool automatically log standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from IP. We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) for this. See Cookies below.
c) Information we do not collect
We do not require account registration to browse the site, do not process payments on adultcareer.com, and do not knowingly collect government ID, biometric data, or special-category data through our forms. Do not include sensitive information (health data, government ID numbers, financial account numbers) in free-text fields.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry, application, or listing request and connect you with the relevant opportunity, business, or service.
- To operate the job board, marketplace, verification, blacklist, and moderation features you submit information to.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and rate-limit automated submissions.
- To understand aggregate site usage and improve content (via Google Analytics).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money. We do not use your submissions for third-party advertising profiles.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA / UK Visitors)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information under these legal bases: consent (submitting a form is a voluntary, affirmative action); legitimate interests (operating and securing the platform, preventing abuse, aggregate analytics); and legal obligation where applicable.
5. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the service:
- Infrastructure providers - our hosting (Vercel) and database (Neon, PostgreSQL) providers process data on our behalf to run the site and store submissions.
- Notification channel - form submissions are relayed through the Telegram Bot API to notify our team; this means submission content passes through Telegram's infrastructure in transit.
- Analytics - Google Analytics (Google LLC) receives automatically-collected usage data as described below.
- Listings you ask to publish - if you request that your job or business listing be published (the "list on jobs / marketplace" options), the listing content you approve for publication becomes publicly visible on the site by design.
- Legal requirements - if required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or respond to a valid legal process.
6. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure site usage, which sets cookies and similar identifiers. This may qualify as a "sale" or "share" of personal information under some state laws (e.g., California's CPRA) due to how analytics data is processed, even though we receive no payment for it.
Analytics only loads after you accept via the cookie banner shown on your first visit - it never runs beforehand. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it automatically and never load analytics at all, with no prompt needed. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for adultcareer.com, or opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
7. Data Retention
We retain form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose you submitted them for (e.g., reviewing an application or listing request), and afterward for a limited period for record-keeping, dispute-resolution, and legal-compliance purposes, unless you request earlier deletion under Section 9.
8. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure providers operate globally. If you are located outside the country where our servers are hosted, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your information ("right to erasure" / "right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Port your data to another provider, where technically feasible.
- Opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (California CPRA) - see Section 6.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Non-discrimination - we will not penalize you for exercising any of these rights.
This applies regardless of jurisdiction; we honor these rights for all visitors on a good-faith basis, not only where legally mandated. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using Section 12 below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (e.g., 30 days under GDPR/UK GDPR, 45 days under CCPA/CPRA), and may need to verify your identity first.
10. Children's Privacy
This site is strictly for users 18 years of age or older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it promptly. Contact us via Section 12 if you believe a minor has submitted information to us.
11. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), parameterized database queries, and access-controlled admin systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Contact Us
For any privacy question, data request, or concern, email us at [email protected]. We aim to respond to all privacy requests promptly.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
